Privacy policy

This policy covers every App published by Kagan Mert. It is short because the Apps ask for very little.

What every App does

No accounts: You never sign up or sign in. There is nothing to remember and nothing to reset.
No tracking: The Apps contain no advertising, attribution, or tracking SDKs, and never show an App Tracking Transparency prompt because there is nothing to track. Where an App counts anonymous usage, its exception below says so.
No selling: Nothing about you is sold, rented, or shared with data brokers, because nothing about you is collected.
No children's data: The Apps are not directed at children, and no personal data is collected from anyone of any age.
Local by default: What you type stays on your device unless an App exception below says otherwise.

App exceptions

The only features that send anything off your device, App by App. If an App is not listed here, nothing leaves it.

When you generate a custom deck, the topic you type and an anonymous install ID (a random identifier created on your device, visible in Options) are sent to a server I operate, which forwards the topic to Google's Gemini API to write the words. The ID exists only to limit generations per device per day; it is not linked to you. Playing, built-in decks, and typed custom decks never leave the device.

Guessy · Anonymous usage counts

Guessy reports anonymous app usage metrics, such as how many devices opened it, through Expo EAS Insights. No name, email, account, or advertising identifier is involved, and nothing you type is included.

Changes and contact

If a future App needs to send data off the device, this page gains a new exception before that App is released, and the effective date above changes.
